This program examines the important relationships between the early childhood educator, parents, caregivers and the community. It gives students a professional qualification to teach in early childhood settings. Students are introduced to teaching by observing and interacting with small groups in first year and continue to gain experience in a range of early childhood contexts in later years. Studies include in-depth coverage of child development and learning, and units of study in key learning areas, such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Health and Wellbeing, and Science. This course is full-time study, daytime only.
