Bachelor of Primary Education (Health and Physical Education)

This course offers students an exciting new option for those wanting to become a primary school teacher. As well as providing a qualification in Primary Teaching, it offers the opportunity to become a Health and Physical Education specialist within Primary Schools. Throughout the course students engage in a series of education and curriculum study units with a stronger emphasis on Health and Physical Education subjects. This Health and Physical Education specialisation will be strengthened with some of the Professional Experience subjects focusing on the specialisation. Students completing this degree will be qualified to teach years K-6 as either a general primary teacher or a specialist Health and Physical Education primary teacher.
